Ellen graduated in 2024 from the Erasmus Mundus programme in International Law of Global Peace, Security and Development (ILGSPD), completing her studies at the University of Glasgow, the Barcelona Institut d’Estudis Internacionals, and Radboud University. She particularly valued the programme’s multidisciplinary approach and the opportunity to learn alongside peers from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
During her Bachelor’s studies in Global Law at Tilburg University, Ellen served as Editor-in-Chief of the Global Law Newsletter, coordinating the editorial process and overseeing publication.
She remains strongly interested in peace and security issues and in bridging analytical work with practical policy relevance. Through POLIscope, she looks forward to contributing to high-quality publications and staying actively engaged with the ILGSPD community.
