Frederike Kanschat is currently a legal trainee with the Secretariat-General of the European Commission, where she assists in coordinating relations with the European Economic Area, Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco, and San Marino.

Prior to this role, she worked as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, focusing on the intricate dynamics of global crises. She has also gained experience in policy consulting.

Frederike holds an LL.M. in International Law from the University of Glasgow, along with additional postgraduate degrees in international security and human rights law from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals and the University of Tartu.
