Nina Valentini holds a BA in International Relations and International Organization from the University of Groningen (Netherlands) and graduated from the ILGSPD programme in 2024. 

Nina is currently a diplomat in training with the German Federal Foreign Office. She previously worked as a Program Coordinator of the 3rd Executive Seminar on Climate, Peace and Security in Multilateralism organized by the German Federal Foreign Office’s division Training for International Diplomats, and completed an internship at the German Embassy in Tajikistan.

Nina has acted as a research assistant for the Glasgow Centre for International Law & Security, conducting research on the development of sports sanction issued against Russian and Belarusian athletes in context with the Russian-Ukraine war.
