Ritanshu is a lawyer based in New Delhi. She is a recipient of the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship and holds a Joint LL.M. in International Law of Global Security, Peace and Development from the University of Glasgow and Leuphana University, as well as an M.A. in International Security Studies from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI).
She has worked as a Graduate Professional and Consultant with the Space Security Programme at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) in Geneva, Switzerland. Her areas of interest include international law, disarmament, space security, space law and policy, weapons of mass destruction, and the laws of armed conflict. Her published work includes co-authored reports such as the 2024 Outer Space Security Conference Report and a report on industry perspectives on addressing space security challenges.
Before joining the Erasmus Mundus Programme, she worked as a Legislative Assistant to a Member of Parliament (LAMP) Fellow in India (2021-22) and holds a B.A. LL.B. from Lloyd Law College, India (2015-20)."
