Sokol Zeneli is an expert in EU enlargement, regional cooperation, and sustainability governance. He holds a joint LL.M. in International Law of Global Security, Peace, and Development (University of Glasgow, IBEI, Leuphana University) and an M.A. in International Security.
Academically, Sokol has served as a Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow, where he analysed the inclusiveness of international peace processes. At Leuphana University, his work on WTO and trade law examined the efficacy of sustainability chapters within Free Trade Agreements in protecting environmental and human rights standards.
Currently, Sokol is the Director of Programmes at the Regional Action Lab (Re-ACT Lab), specialising in policymaking within the Western Balkans and the EU. He brings extensive experience in project management for international organisations, intergovernmental bodies, and various regional think tanks.
